Ode To Target

I love you Target, my favorite discount store
I shopped all the time. Now I can't anymore.

How I wish I were wandering down your organized aisles.
To think that there were two of you within just a few miles.

I loved you in Glen Burnie and then Pasadena.
It seems like it has been years since I've seen ya.

Where else can you buy conditioner and shampoo?
Everything was so clean and looking so new.

I miss all the Rubbermaid options you had.
Here I'm afraid the collection's quite sad.

You had gas grills and towels galore.
All contained in the very same store.

I miss your note cards and stickers and chocolate candy.
If I needed some lotion you came in quite handy.

Where will I buy cheap Christmas lights?
Or fuzzy slippers to wear on cold nights?

What about when I need a new shower curtain?
They are not at the PX; of that I'm quite certain.

I'll have to shop at a distance on my computer online.
I'll try not to cry and I'll try not to whine.

I put in my order and am happy to know,
that Target will ship to my APO.
